About the role:
The Apprentice People Advisor role is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to launch their HR career while studying for their CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our People Team to deliver brilliant colleague experiences across the entire employee lifecycle, with hands‑on exposure to employee relations, performance, engagement, and more.
You’ll gain practical experience using HR systems, build a strong foundation in employment law, and become a trusted first‑line support for managers and colleagues. - Support the People Partners in preparing documentation for ER cases, investigations, and meetings. Take notes in meetings, ensuring accurate and confidential record-keeping.
- Assist with, probations, internal changes, and offboarding processes, ensuring they run smoothly, and colleagues feel supported throughout.
- Support accurate data entry into SuccessFactors and maintain compliance with legal and internal standards for record-keeping, including eligibility to work and visa monitoring.
- Support the delivery of engagement initiatives such as Employee of the Month and internal feedback surveys.
- Contribute to People projects (e.g. culture transformation, TUPE, onboarding improvement) with enthusiasm and an eye for process improvements.
- Assist with audits and checks around working hours, minimum wage, student visas, and other compliance elements – helping ensure we do things right, every time.
- Commit to studying for your CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification, applying your learning in a real-world setting and reflecting on how HR principles work in practice.
