About the role:
We’re looking for a highly motivated and analytically driven Finance Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. In this strategic role, you will support the Finance Business Partner for Petrol Filling Stations by delivering insightful financial analysis, accurate reporting, and data-led decision support to key stakeholders. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools. You’ll need to communicate financial information clearly and confidently, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. We're seeking someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. What you’ll do:
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports
- Support with the production of rolling forecasts and annual budgets
- Provide variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecast
- Partner with business teams to understand financial performance and key drivers
- Provide support and challenge to a wide range of stakeholders; deliver recommendations based on actionable intelligence
- Monitor KPIs and create regular reports for senior stakeholders
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making
- Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools

What we are looking for:
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a corporate or commercial finance environment.
- Exposure to business partnering or working with cross-functional teams.
- Curious mindset and a proactive approach to solving problems.
