About the role:

 

The IT Purchase & Logistics Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating purchasing and logistics activities across the UK and France. The role is responsible for managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of IT equipment and supplies.

 

You will also maintain accurate procurement records, track outstanding orders and deliveries, and ensure purchasing and logistics activities are delivered in line with company policies, budgets and operational requirements.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Raise and process purchase orders accurately and promptly in line with approved requirements and company procedures.
  • Ensure purchase orders contain accurate supplier, pricing, quantity and delivery information.
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm availability, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Coordinate logistics arrangements for the collection, transportation and delivery of IT goods and equipment.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery discrepancies, including delays, shortages, damaged or incorrect goods.
  • Maintain accurate procurement and logistics records, including purchase orders, delivery documentation and shipment details.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement, purchasing or logistics.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong supplier/vendor management and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of IT hardware and software products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and relevant procurement or inventory management systems.
