About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and drive the delivery of all maintenance activities across our facilities. In this role, you will ensure that equipment, machinery, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our operations.
You will lead and coordinate a skilled maintenance team, managing both planned and reactive maintenance programs, scheduling work effectively, and overseeing contractors. You will also ensure full compliance with all relevant safety, health, and regulatory standards.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, you will play a key role in maintaining high operational standards, improving maintenance processes, and promote a proactive, well-organised maintenance function throughout the business.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and deliver maintenance programmes to ensure equipment, facilities and assets remain in good working order.
- Prioritise maintenance tasks effectively in line with operational needs.
- Lead, support and develop the maintenance team, promoting a positive and accountable working culture.
- Implement preventative maintenance routines to minimise downtime and extend asset life.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address issues promptly.
- Oversee repairs and fault‑finding activities to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to source parts and obtain technical support.
- Manage the upkeep of buildings, utilities and site infrastructure.
- Oversee external service providers and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote strong health and safety practices across the team.
- Manage maintenance budgets responsibly and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and asset information.
Provide clear updates and reports on maintenance performance and ongoing work.

What we are looking for:
- Experience in a maintenance management role or similar
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical or electrical systems
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach
